I am 55 years old, and I’m here in jail because I took from my parents.  I am so remorseful for what I did, but Mom and Dad have forgiven me.  Now I just have to forgive myself.  That is not easy for me to do.  They have loved me through my addictions.  They have loved me when I didn’t even love myself.  With God’s help, I am learning to do that.  I have a sister who I adore and look up to.  I have three wonderful boys who I am extremely proud of, and three grandchildren and one on the way.  I am so blessed to have the family God gave me.  I don’t know what God has planned for me, but I am ready to start my new life.
