I am 49 and am a wife, mother of 2 sets of twins, and a grandma of one.  Besides my family keeping me busy, I like cooking, drawing and nature hikes.  I have worked in customer service for many years and enjoy helping and serving the public.  For a long time, I have struggled with alcohol addiction, trying rehab three different times.  But not until my late 40s did it drastically affect my life, and I knew I had to make a change.  So by the grace of God and the support of Alcoholics Anonymous, I am learning to live a clean and sober life.  During my incarceration, I have found an inner strength and peace in myself through prayer, meditation and yoga.  I have also learned alternative ways to deal with conflict and stress in my life.  My dream for my future is to go back to school and get my Certified Nursing Assistant Diploma and then go to work in a nursing home in Nashville where I can take care of the elderly.

“The meaning of life is to find your gift.  The purpose of life is to give it away.”
