I grew up in Nashville with five siblings. My childhood was fun with such a big family, and I had great parents. I just made bad choices and tried drugs at a very young age. Things progressively got worse as the years passed. I lost my sister to brain cancer when I was 18 and she was 22. Losing her was very hard on the whole family. My addiction took over my life after that. I had my son in 2012 and my daughter in 2014. My addiction hurt all of my loved ones, especially my children. I eventually hit rock bottom and came to jail in 2015. It was the best thing that could have happened to me. I am so very thankful to be alive today, and I get a second chance to make an amazing life for myself and my precious babies.
